Leylines open beta is live

August 18, 2026 · The Cybermoon team

Leylines is open. Request access, install it, and start writing with other people on your own schedule.

What it is

Leylines sits on your master bus. Start a session, share the code, and write together without being in the same room. You stay in your own DAW. Capture and sync happen in the background, and your collaborator's latest take shows up on its own. It is async, not a live stream.

In the beta

  • VST3 and CLAP on Windows, Linux, and macOS.
  • Fast session pairing, over a share code or your local network.
  • Cloud sync is in progress. Check the roadmap to see what is coming next.
  • A MIDI instrument build is included, but it is experimental.

It is a beta

The builds are not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen and macOS Gatekeeper flag them on first run. That is expected. The download page has the steps and the checksums.

Tell us what breaks

Post bugs, gripes, and feature requests on the forum. We read them, and the beta gets better because of it.

Get Leylines or request beta access.
