Why Leylines exists
It began with two producers a thousand miles apart, one in Colorado and one in Tennessee, trying to finish an EP together. Neither wanted to give up their real DAW, their real plugin chain, or their real mixer just to work with the other. So Leylines was built.
A plugin you drop on your master bus, that lets both of you keep your entire setup and still hear each other's progress, on your own schedule. It worked across those thousand miles, and it works at any distance.
A few principles.
Your DAW, your plugins, your mixer. Leylines fits around the setup you already trust instead of asking you to leave it behind for a browser tab.
Good collaboration should not require everyone to be online at the same minute. Work on your own schedule and let the session catch up in the background.
Leylines is in an open beta, and we say so rather than dressing it up as a launch. Fill in the survey, confirm your email, and you are in. Receiving is open to everyone with no account at all. Leylines Cloud is optional, is not built yet, and you never need it just to connect.
